Hi, my name's Matthew. I'm a mathematics and english tutor based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. I've been tutoring maths and english for the last 5 years. In 2011 I changed my career to focus on teaching and training having spent eleven years in the e-learning sector designing and implementing learning programs for the armed forces. I have a military background in the Royal Navy. I have a keen interest in mathematics and web based learning programs.
In 2013 I attained a PGCE from Hull University and have experience working in schools in and around North Lincolnshire. I provide support for students studying towards their SATS and GCSE's.
As well as teaching maths and english I also teach guitar. I've been playing the guitar most of my life and can sing as well. Originally I had lessons with John Gladwin from The Amazing Blondel where I learned classical guitar. I studied at John Leggott college and later on became proficient with the acoustic guitar and electric bass.
